Rainbow Parade

Around 100,000 dance enthusiasts are expected to gather along Vienna's wonderful boulevard, the Ringstrasse, to celebrate and let their hair down at the 15th Rainbow Parade, the Viennese version of the Pride Parade. On trailers, motorbikes or on foot: Drag queens, leather boys and lesbians head for the streets in loud to daring outfits and make their way against the flow of traffic starting at 2 p.m. from the City Park. The organizers can rightfully boast that Vienna's Rainbow Parade has one of the world's most spectacular routes until it reaches Schwarzenbergplatz, where the atmospheric open-air party will take place with an extensive show program - free of charge! / Copyright: WTV/Robert Osmark
