Cavendish in Rubens' House

This English duke was a poet, a military man, a patron of the arts, but above all a passionate horseback rider. Following the English civil war the Duke of Cavendish moved to Antwerp and resided at Rubens' House. It is there that he set up a riding school, which rapidly gained notoriety all over Europe.
