Brasserie De Markt

This bistro/restaurant has been loved by Antwerp families for decades and recently got a complete overhaul, both regarding the interior and the kitchen. The results surprised everybody: now it's even nicer to come here for lunch or dinner, to have a drink before going to the nearby theatre or to enjoy a coffee after browsing the open air market that's being held here every Saturday and Sunday. With its Belgian-French cuisine, the correct prices and the friendly and professional service, De Markt is certainly worth a visit.
