Bazar

For Arabian influences – both culinary and as far as decor is concerned- one can visit the ethnic establishment Bazar in the Albert Cuyp market. The walls of this impressive former church are richly decorated; in the large space there are colourful tables and amusing lamps. One can eat well for moderate prices and there are dishes from North Africa as well as ones from the Middle East. Think of salmon marinaded in saffron, spicy lamb sausages and couscous. Because of the setting and the happy bustle it is just like a market- thus this restaurant is appropriately named Bazar!
