If you enjoy looking at some great contemporary architecture while you eat, this is a place you must definitely visit. Bolivar overlooks the new Antwerp courthouse, which was designed by Richard Rogers (Millennium Dome, Centre Pompidou) and has become of the main landmarks of the city. The trendy south district where this restaurant is located is sometimes called 'Little Paris' because of its grand streets and elegant, neoclassical houses and fittingly the interior of Bolivar resembles a Parisian bistro. Its main source of income is of course the courthouse and all of the lawyers, civil servants and officials that go with it - and who all need a spot of lunch. They are specialised in seafood and Belgian/French cuisine.
