Cinekid

The Cinekid Festival is an annual film, television and new-media festival for children in Amsterdam. Every year more than 50,000 children, parents and (international) guests visit one or more of the five hundred media productions that Cinekid has to offer them: film, documentaries, short films, cartoons, television productions, cross-media productions, interactive installations and workshops. Alongside the main festival in Amsterdam, a satellite program also featuring the Cinekid films is organized in more than thirty other towns throughout the Netherlands. Cinekid for Professionals will take place during the Cinekid Festival. This event will provide an opportunity for more than two hundred media professionals to meet one another in order to discuss new developments in the field of children’s media, exchange experiences and promote the production of children’s films, children’s television and cross-media productions. Cinekid for Professionals will comprise coproduction markets, a ‘sales library’, seminars and expert meetings.
