Amsterdam Gay Pride
Amsterdam Gay Pride is the largest gay event in the Netherlands, with a multitude of cultural events, sporting activities and parties. The climax is an extravagant and carnivalesque boat parade through the Amsterdam canals on Saturday 7 August. Not limited to one district in town, Amsterdam Gay Pride spreads itself across numerous strips and streets and amongst a wide range of gay and lesbian clubs and bars from leather bars to casual cafés. Parties over the weekend likewise range dramatically and there is something to tickle everyone's fancy.
