Rubens' House (Rubenshuis)

The house where he lived and worked reveals the grandeur of the painter. It's an Italianate palazzo, audaciously avant-garde in Rubens' age - the Pompidou Centre of its day. Rubens' House wasn't only very modern, it was also very foreign. There are a dozen of his paintings here, including a beautiful self-portrait.
