VALENCIA TENNIS TOURNAMENT REACHES OPEN 500

VALENCIA TENNIS TOURNAMENT REACHES OPEN 500

The Valencia Region Tennis Open has seen a spectacular change in its category and venue. The first edition of the Open 500 moved to a new home: the City of Arts and Science complex and next November 2010, the Ágora, a new building designed by Valencia-born architect Calatrava, will play host to the centre court.  The remaining courts and the tennis village are located inside and around the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum. The court surface is also slightly different, and this marks the only ATP tournament in Spain which uses a hard indoor surface. The Valencia tournament, on from the 1st to the 7th November 2010, will be crucial for those tennis players who hope to finish the season among the top eight players in the world. www.valenciaopen500.com
