Another great leap for Valencia

Valencia will be the eighth site on the Global Champions Tour, the most prestigious equestrian horse jumping tournament of the year, with other stops on the Tour in cities including Cannes, Monte Carlo and Sao Paulo. Considered the Formula 1 of the equestrian world, the Grand Prix of Spain will be held from 7 to 9 May 2010 and through 2011 in the chameleon-like setting of the City of Arts and Sciences. The thirty greatest riders in the world will meet there in a top-flight international competition where over 150 horses will delight spectators at the free event. Five events televised to over 60 countries will take place during each day of the three-day competition.
