Bar Italia

Upstairs, Bar Italia is a small street café in the midst of the bustling shopping street Mariahilferstrasse. Vienna architect Arkan Zeytinoglu made maximum use of the available space, enlisting different colours, materials and mirrors to create flexibility for the daily offerings of classic Italian snacks. Downstairs is a whole different world - a bar for the discriminating night owl where the play of colour and light across the old vaulted ceiling, together with warm materials such as exotic dark wood, create a luxurious ambience.
