Gassan Diamonds is the historical diamond polishing factory of Amsterdam. Experience the craftsmanship of the diamond polishers, while multilingual staff presents the dazzling world of diamonds. An extensive collection of loose and set polished diamonds and jewels can be purchased at Gassan Diamonds.
About 340.000 visitors come to see Coster Diamonds craftsmen at work every year. During free-guided tours, which are available in more than 25 languages, the process of cutting and polishing a diamond is explained in detail by an efficient and accommodating staff.
Cutting and grinding in the heart of the city, Amsterdam Diamond Center is the official diamond supplier for more than 35 luxurious watch brands such as Rolex, Blancpain, Breguet, Baume & Mercier, Cartier, Chopard, Gucci, Chanel, Jaeger leCoultre, Omega, Tag Heuer, Vacheron Constantin, Piaget, Philip Stein and many more. Jewellery is sold here too, as is a large selection of loose diamonds.
Want to know more about diamonds? In a villa specially renovated for this purpose on the Museumplein, the Diamant Museum Amsterdam was founded. The exhibition rooms are located on the first and second floors of the building. Using ten themes, the museum’s permanent exhibition Brilliant Beauties takes the visitor along on a journey through the history of the diamond. Regularly-changing expositions will be on view on the second floor.
