A new species of bird discovered in Valencia

As of December 2010 it will be possible to travel between Valencia and Madrid by “duck”. The journey between the two capitals will be reduced to 1 hour 35 minutes thanks to the new high-speed trains known as "ducks", which are to run at a frequency of between 13 and 17 trains per day. With 365 seats each, an estimated +3 million passengers are expected each year. This high-speed connection between Valencia and the Spanish capital represents a great opportunity for tourists, who will be able to visit Valencia to enjoy the sun and savour a paella, board one of the many cruise ships that set sail from port or visit the city and discover its attractions.
