Football stars act as guides for a day
Valencia Football Club players Mata, Mathieu, Maduro, Joaquín and Soldado have changed scenario, each showing the attractions of Valencia, the city for whose team they compete. While world champion Juan Mata cruises the Mediterranean Sea on a catamaran, showing the ample Las Arenas and Malvarrosa beaches and strolling through the port to the promenade, Joaquin sails across the Albufera lake, observing the flora and fauna that is native to the wetlands. The guide to the city’s historical centre is Dutchman Hedwiges Maduro, who visits the Holy Chalice, the Silk Market and the Central Market. Roberto Soldado, meanwhile, shows us the most unique corners of the City of Arts and Sciences, and Frenchman Jérémy Mathieu enters the heart of Africa in the form of Bioparc.
