In the inner courtyard of a new building on the Danube Canal designed by architect Jean Nouvel is a special kind of art work: The Green Wall by Frenchman Patrick Blanc is a 600 square meter steel construction, on which around 20,000 different plants form a heavenly, vertical city garden. When shopping at the design center Stilwerk, there is an outstanding view on this special Green Wall. The wall explodes in colors that correspond to the seasons. This "Mur végétal" was designed by the French botanist Patrick Blanc, who unites architecture and nature in his vertical parks. His "green walls" can be admired worldwide in museums, hotels and shopping centers.
