A preview of the 2011 agenda in Valencia

Valencia's agenda for 2011 is full of outstanding events. Whilst February sees the presentation of the autumn-winter collection at the Valencia Fashion Week (www.valenciafashionweek.com), in September it’s the turn for spring and summer fashion. Between 15 and 19 March, an explosion that will stimulate all the senses will be installed throughout the city for five intense days in the form of Las Fallas (www.fallasfromvalencia.com). Motor racing fans will be able to enjoy the Formula 1 Grand Prix in June (www.valenciastreetcircuit.com) and the Moto GP Championship in November (www.circuitvalencia.com). From November to June, music lovers will be spoilt for choice with the opera season programmed for El Palau de les Arts (www.lesarts.com) and the concerts offered at El Palau de la Música (www.palauvalencia.com). Additionally, sports fans should take note of the Valencia Open 500 tennis tournament (www.valenciaopen500.com) in November, as well as the various national and international tournaments in which Valencia Football Club (www.valenciacf.com) and the Power Electronics basketball team (www.valenciabasket.com) are taking part.
