From the WTCC to the catwalk

Lovers of motor racing have a treat in store for them on 3 and 4 September at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Cheste, with the arrival of the exciting WTCC, the FIA World Touring Car Championship. This is the third most important competition after the Formula 1 and the World Rally Championship, and car manufacturers such as BMW, SEAT, CHEVROLET and LADA will be taking part. This racing event is the prelude to the Motorcycle Grand Prix to be held from 4 to 6 November at the same circuit.

Moving on to the world of couture, Valencia Fashion Week returns from 7 to 10 September. This edition, the 11^th so far, will be held in the unparalleled setting of the City of Arts and Sciences’ Agora Building, where 30 ready-to-wear collections for spring/summer 2012 will be unveiled. A new event this year is the free of charge Off fashion show, which will be held at 11.30 pm at the Agora building's lakes.
