Waves Vienna

Vienna's top club festival will last a full five days: Starting September 28th, "Waves Vienna - Music Festival & Conference" will combine ten clubs and off-locations, including a party tram. Under the motto "East Meets West", Waves Vienna brings together 80 international acts ranging from alternative and rock to electronic and club music.

Zola Jesus, EMA, Retro Stefson, Emily Barker, Monsterheart and Ian Fisher make their way from the US to Vienna. Great Britain is very well represented, for instance with Andrew Weatherall, The Duke Spirit, Gang Of Four, Jamie Woon, Is Tropical and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs.

There will be performances by Austrian musicians (Clara Luzia, Soap&Skin, Wolfram, Killed by 9 Volt Batteries, ...) as well as by hot artists from Eastern Europe (Jacek Sienkiewicz from Polen, Ewert And The Two Dragons as well as Kreatiivmootor from Estonia, Slap In The Bass from Hungary, Jana Vébrová from the Czech Republic and many more).
