Noorderlicht, explore the North

A must! The ferry departs from the jetty behind the Central Station twice an hour to the NDSM shipyard. Once disembarked it’s only a five minute walk to the ‘Noorderlicht’. Enter the NDSM terrain with the sheds to your left. At the end to the right is a transparent cupola on the IJ. This is Noorderlicht. Ever since its opening in 2006 NDSM and festival visitors and city adventurers have found their way here - one of the loveliest spots in Amsterdam. Here one can enjoy lunch or dinner every day of the week either on the terrace or in the restaurant.
