Uitmarkt, opening of the cultural season!

The largest cultural festival in the Netherlands brings together more than 450 performances by some 2,000 artists for the annual opening of the cultural season during the last weekend in August. The festival annually attracts a crowd of up to 500,000 people; this year, expect to see a wide range of artistic media represented, including classical music, children’s entertainment, hip hop, jazz and dance.
