Maritime Museum

The Maritime Museum is being completely renovated and preparing to embark on its own Golden Age. The museum is re-opening in October of 2011 with 13 new exhibitions. Museum goers will also find Golden Age replica ship “De Amsterdam” back on display. The Maritime Museum collection reflects the rich seafaring history of the Netherlands. The collection’s ship models, paintings and prints all give a good sense of the country’s maritime past.
