Spend your Christmas Holidays in Valencia
Red carpets line the pavements of Valencia, Christmas lights illuminate the city’s streets and angels and stars decorate its shop windows. Christmas has already arrived in Valencia.
There’s lots to do for the younger members of the family as a number of circuses are coming to town. These include the Gran Fele, in front of the City of Arts and Sciences, which will be opening its doors from 10 December to 8 January, and the Wonderland Circus, next to Bioparc, from 2 December to 15 January. What’s more, the most entertaining fair of the year — Expojove — is coming to Feria Valencia from 26 December to 4 January, with hundreds of stands offering fun, educational workshops for children. However, without a doubt the most exciting day for children will be 6 January, when their Highnesses the Three Kings visit the streets of the city centre to spread joy and excitement to all those who come to welcome them.
The Valencia Artisans Association is organising a Christmas Craft Fair from 2 December to 8 January in the Plaza de la Reina. In addition, a number of different choirs will be giving concerts in streets of the city centre and around the Cathedral on the afternoon of Sunday 18 December.
