Elephants roam the streets

To celebrate the fact that Astridplein -next to Antwerp's magnificent Central Station- has been restored to its former glory and as part of the 'Oh Dierbaar Antwerpen' event about the link between human beings and animals, the Antwerp Zoo recently bought 9 sculptures of elephants by South African artist Andries Botha. It looks as if they're on their way to the Zoo and they're so charming, that many people stop to admire them. Lovely!
