Permeke

Built like a giant glass cube, the public library Permeke looks like a shiny beacon on De Koninckplein, a stone's throw away from Antwerp's Central Station. The entire neighbourhood is being renovated and Permeke acts as a meeting point, for locals and tourists alike, who come here not only to borrow books or CD's, but also to visit lectures and exhibitions -or simply to have a chat with old or new friends.
