This Art Nouveau building in the trendy South District dates from 1901. It received the prestige Europa-Nostra Preize in 1995 and has been attracting photographers from all over the world ever since. "Het Zuid", the South District of Antwerp, has seen a revival in recent years thanks to the addition of museums, galleries, restaurants and bars. The appreciation for this area has risen that it has led to the restoration of buildings, many dating from the late 1800's. Newer constructions, such as the Court House by Richard Rodgers, have added their own stories to the evolving chapter of "Het Zuid".
