About a week ago American Apparel opened its first Belgian franchise in the Kammenstraat, probably the trendiest shopping street in Antwerp. The LA-based fashion brand is undergoing a massive expansion ; their first store was opened only four years ago and this is 75th one. It's noted for advocating and utilizing non-sweatshop labor policies. The company designs and makes the clothes as well as selling them, which makes this a workable policy. Anyway, in their Antwerp store you'll find all the things you expect to find: basic cotton t-shirts and underwear, tank tops, dresses, pants and denim, as well as loads of accessories.
