Fat Kat Records

Insiders frequently visit this record store, but to the world at large it remains very obscure indeed. Until now that is. Sitting inconspicuously in a narrow street at the edge of the old city centre, Far Kat truly is a must-visit for those who enjoy music that goes a little beyond the mainstream. The shop has been around for ages and is specialised in all sorts of underground music (rock, reggae / dub, rockabilly, electronics, punk...) and they also have an extensive collection of local bands and artists for sale, which is probably the largest in Antwerp. Fat Kat offers a variety of second-hand records (vinyl as well as CDs) too so can you can pick up both new and old gems here.
