Amsterdam Central Library

This eye catcher situated next to Amsterdam Central Station opened its doors on 07/07/07. With a floor area of 28.000 m² it is the largest public library in Europe. Exhibitions and theater performances are held here as well. There is a multimedia floor on which you can watch concerts from a designer chair. A panorama terrace is situated on the top floor where you can enjoy lunch and dinner with a view over the city. By the way, you can also borrow some books!
