"AND THE GOLDEN PALM GOES TO" THE 30TH MOSTRA

From 16 to 24 October 2009, Valencia readies its red carpet to welcome important celebrities from the world of cinema. For another year running, the 30th Mostra de Valencia presents us with its unique film programme of less commercial cinema, thanks to which it has earned great prestige and international recognition. Since its beginnings, the festival has aimed to not only promote our own audiovisual industry but also to introduce Valencians to the latest trends in global independent cinema. The Mostra also pays tribute to great filmmakers of all periods, and of all film genres, showing a series of films which are difficult to come across today in more commercial film cycles.
