Art Gallery - Tim Van Laere
Not one artist in this art space looks similar to another, its artists varying from dreamy pencil drawings to abstract colour fields to utterly estranging sculptures and sound/video projections. "One absolutely has to be modern," young Arthur Rimbaud once exclaimed, and Tim Van Laere takes his advice to heart. Currently, there's a group exhibition by Sergio De Beukelaer, Ellen De Meutter, Adrian Ghenie, Faris McReynolds, Paula Mueller and Ciprian Muresan, five of whom were born in 1977. In the course of 2009, the gallery will show works by such artists as Ed Templeton, Juan Usle and Joep van Lieshout.
